Announcing a New album/Crowdfunding campaign!
After a decade of waiting, It's finally time for a new album!
I am currently in the studio recording a brand new, 9 - track album for all of my loyal fans and friends. Produced by Austen Earp of Darkroot Studios in Rome, GA, and featuring some of the best musicians in the southeast, this project is proving to be one of my most creatively ambitious yet.
I would LOVE for you to be a part of the process. Whether that be pre-ordering a physical copy, leaving a tip, or just following along for the ride, I hope you'll join me! I have a goal of $10,000 and while that may sound like a lot, every penny will go towards making this album REAL.
You may choose the first option below to pre-order a digital only copy ($15) or the second option for a physical CD ($25 and it comes with a digital download) or…….

What is this garbage?
- I'm so glad you asked. I am offering fans (and hopefully you!) a chance to pre-order my new album and get in 0n some super exclusive and limited rewards in exchange for your financial support of this project!
What if I don't want to pre-order?
- That's ok! You can still contribute by using the Tip/Donate/Contribute button above.
How much does it cost to make an album anyway?
- It's no small undertaking. Hours and hours of work go into making an album. You have to book recording time at a studio (thousands of dollars depending on the scale of your project) + Have the album produced and mixed by an engineer who knows what they're doing (we're in such good hands with Austen at Darkroot Studios) + Send the album off to a faraway land to have it mastered (can reach thousands). You definitely want this. This makes your project radio-ready + Pay your musicians (we'll play for scraps, but it's very nice to get paid for the hard work we do) + Order merchandise i.e. CD's (hundreds to thousands of dollars) + Pay a graphic designer to design your album art (hundreds) + Promote to get slipped into some good playlists on streaming platforms such as Apple Music and Spotify + Hire a photographer to shoot your album cover + Travel to and fro + Need I say more?!
Katrina, that was a lot. What is your crowdfunding goal for this album?
- Every little bit helps, be it a $5 tip or the purchase of a house concert. I have set a goal of $10,000 to cover the monumental costs of being a hopeless creative.
Is there a deadline you have to meet to reach the goal?
- No. There is no set deadline. However, the album is set to release early next year 2027, so I'm hoping to reach the goal by then.
If I pre-order a CD or a bundle, when is the expected fulfillment date?
- fulfillment dates on Digital copies will be on the album release date TBD. Fulfillment of physical copies and bundles are TBD and will be filled in the most timely fashion possible (within 6 months of release date for higher tier bundles like house concerts and songwriting workshops)
What are bundles?
- Bundles are highly specific rewards and experiences that you may purchase to get the full Katrina Barclay experience.
How much is shipping?
- Free. I'm covering shipping costs as an added THANK YOU!
Why do I have to contribute to the new album?
- You do not have to. But it sure would be lovely if you did.
