Biography
Katrina Barclay’s music is known to captivate an audience. Josh Pickard of noogaToday writes, "...it's the absolute sense of earnestness and plainspoken emotion that comes through, giving each song a ragged but sympathetic appearance." Guitar riffs influenced by alternative rock and blues and lyrics that expose her innermost self give her music an edge that cuts gently yet leaves a mark. Katrina was born and raised on gospel bluegrass, and her original music comes from years of interpersonal connections, life experiences, and her fair share of heartbreak. A decade of performing and recording brought her to the stage of The Bluebird Café in Nashville, TN upon winning a statewide songwriting contest in Chattanooga. She has toured nationally and has shared the stage with the likes of Penny & Sparrow, Future Of Forestry, Megan Saunders, Colton Dixon, and Clark Beckham. She’s a staple in her local community, sitting on the board of the Chattanooga Songwriters Assn. Katrina’s LP “Element” was recorded and produced by esteemed Rome, GA producer Austen Earp.

“‘Ifs and Maybes’ is an exhilarating vision of electric folk and rock music so beautifully entwined that it seems as though she has created an entirely different world on which to offer her musical wonders.” - Josh Pickard
